Carrots Vichy
Ingredients
- 450g (1 lb.) Carrots
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
Peel the carrots and then slice them into slices and then slice these into batons like thin chips.
Melt the butter with the water, and sugar in a pan and toss in the carrots.
Cook these gently until they start to get tender then increase the heat and boil fast until the liquid is reduced to a glaze.
